Wellness is my passion

Taking an individualised, root cause approach to wellness.

At GCR Wellness, I take an individualised, root-cause approach to health and wellbeing — helping clients build sustainable habits, better understand their bodies, and feel more connected to themselves.

I’m Gemma, an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Practitioner and Functional Wellness Practitioner trainee with a passion for helping people navigate wellness in a way that feels supportive, realistic, and empowering.

My work is rooted in the belief that our symptoms are not something to simply silence — they are messages inviting us to slow down, listen, and understand what the body may need.

Why work with me

My own journey into wellness began after developing Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a condition that significantly affected my mobility and quality of life. Through exploring nervous system regulation, nutrition, emotional wellbeing, and functional wellness approaches, I began to better understand the connections between stress, hormones, inflammation, pain, and overall health.

That experience changed the way I view the human body.

Rather than searching for more quick fixes, I learned the importance of supporting the body with consistency, compassion, and curiosity. The tools and practices that supported my own journey to date became the foundation of GCR Wellness — Growth, Connection, and Restoration.

Why I can help?

Today, I support clients who want to feel more in tune with their bodies, better equipped to manage stress, and empowered to make sustainable changes that work for their individual lifestyle and needs.

My approach combines evidence-based wellness education with compassionate support, creating a safe and non-judgemental space for exploration and growth.
